Marketing and Communications

Canva Enterprise License

In the spring of 2026, the University of South Carolina will offer access to Canva for help creating branded marketing materials. You'll be able to use the powerful tools and starter branded templates to create polished, on-brand university communications.

When will it be available?

In the spring of 2026.

What you can create

Use Canva for routine projects like:

  • Flyers, posters, and digital signage
  • Presentations and reports
  • Social media graphics
  • Event materials
  • Simple videos and animations

Using Canva helps ensure materials look consistent across campus — without slowing you down.

What Canva does not replace

It’s important to say this clearly:

  • Canva does not replace the university's Division of Marketing or our designers.
  • It does not replace professional design for major university initiatives or campaigns.
  • It does not mean “everyone is on their own.”

What it does mean: The Division of Marketing can focus on high-impact, strategic projects while ensuring you have tools to handle everyday marketing needs efficiently and effectively.

Access and Next Steps

Here’s what to expect:

  • You’ll receive access through your institutional account (SSO).
  • Training sessions and how-to resources will be available.
  • Templates and brand assets will continue to grow over time.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
