Project Description: Current planning concepts, which will be further evaluated during Phase I design, include replacing the Thomson Building and the aging west wing of Russell House with new additions that expand the Student Union. Key priorities include creating a larger ballroom, providing additional space to support the growing needs of student organizations, modernizing existing facilities to better align with student programs and services, and addressing deferred maintenance needs. Phase I was approved by the Board of Trustees on June 19.
